Amin, Yamna’s only and spoiled son, went through severe turmoil after the death of his father. Facing difficult financial circumstances, the mother and her son are forced to rent out their apartment and live on the building’s rooftop. Sakina—nicknamed Souki—the daughter of the new tenants, manages to grow close to Amin despite the jealous refusal of his mother. Because of this situation, Amin leaves the family home for a short time in search of a new life. He eventually returns, and Yamna marries him to Souki, to whom she has become more attached than ever.
